Year 3 – St Jude
Good morning St Jude, first of all let me wish you all a Happy New Year. I'm so sorry that we cannot be together but your health and safety is most important at this time. We are now going back to home learning for the time being. It is really important that you try your best to complete the work set and if you are having any problems then you can always email me at year3@holycrossprimary.thurrock.sch.uk
We will be contacting your parents weekly to check how everything is going. It would be so nice to receive photographs of your work to put up on the class page. Please work hard and be the best you can be.
Stay safe and God Bless
Miss Sloan

Creative Homework
Over the Christmas break, there is a change to your child's usual homework. There will be no Maths worksheet or spellings to learn. Instead I would like your child to choose and complete two creative activities linked to our new topic, 'Stone Age Rocks' and bring these into school on Friday 8th January 2021. Please also read the letter regarding the 'Stone Age Day' that we have planned for Wednesday 13th January 2021.

Just like we have been doing in class I would like you to write a character description from your book that you are reading. Choose your favourite character and write a description of them. Remember to included expanded noun phrases and include detail that is not obvious ( so look at their actions and how they behave).
