Welcome to Year 3, St Jude. Our class saint is St Jude and the feast day is 28th October. He is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes.

- He was also known as Judas Thaddaeus or Lebbaeus
- He was a relative of Jesus
- He wrote the epistle of Jude in the Bible warning believers about false teaching.
- He is the patron saint of desperate cause, desperate situation and lost causes.
- He is often shown in icons with a flame around his head. This represents his presence at Pentecost when he received The Holy Spirit with the other apostles.
