Monday 30th November
Good morning St Jude, unfortunately we can't be together this week. It is very important that we keep you all safe. I have the naughty elf with me here and he can't wait to send you some videos. Here are your lessons for today - please keep your work safe as I will be asking for it when we get back to school.
English - We are writing non-chronological reports and I will be putting up plenty of examples to help you with your writing. Now we picked our 5 questions that we were going to answer but unfortunately they are all in school. Today I would like you to write your 5 questions again and use these as subheadings to research your information. Please aim to get enough information for the first two questions. I have also attached the information that we used in school to help you with your research.
Maths - please see attached video and worksheet. Don't worry if you can't print off the sheet you can answer directly from the screen.
Guided Reading - please log on to Oxford Reading Tree
Handwriting - please complete a page from the booklet
Times tables - please log on to times tables rock stars. This is a really good opportunity to learn your tables this week.
Art - make your own Christmas decoration.
letter for care home resident - We started writing our letter for the care home but I would now like you to finish this at home. Remember it should have 3 paragraphs. paragraph 1 tell them why ou are writing to them, paragraph 2 you can tell them all about yourself and what you are most looking forward to about Christmas and the final paragraph should be wishing them a merry Christmas, you could include some Christmas Jokes. I will attach a sheet that you can print ans write your letter on. If you can't print then you can decorate the letter with your own drawings - they would really like that.
Have a good day and be the best you can be.
email your work to me so i can see how you are getting on.
PLEASE KEEP ALL YOUR WORK SAFE AS I WILL BE ASKING FOR IT WHEN WE ARE BACK AT SCHOOL.
