History - fact file for a famous person

Good morning St Jude, I hope you all had a good weekend.  We have now reached the end of the school year, this is your last week in year 3.  Here are your lessons for today:

English -   This week the focus is going to be on improving your vocabulary and sentence structure ready for year 4 .  You will be looking at clauses in sentences.  Please go through the power point and then complete the worksheet.

Maths -  As usual please see the attached White Rose sheet and tutor video

Guided Reading - Oxford Reading Tree

Handwriting - please complete a page of your handwriting booklet

Times Tables -  In year 4 you wll be expected to sit a national test for your times tables.  It is really iimportant that you know all your times tables for this test.  Please log on to times tables rock stars.

 

Art -   If we were all in school you would be completing your progression book.  We would be asking you to draw a portrait to see how much you have canged from your previous year.  Today I would like you to create your self portrait.  Use a mirror to help you carefully create your portrait.  You can use whatever art materil you have at home.  Please take your time and include as uch detail as you can.

 

History - as our history topic this term we have been learning about the local area, I would like you to do some research to find a famous person from South Ockendon.  I have attached a fact file for you to complete.  I have found a famous actor who else can you find?
