Friday 8th January
Friday 8th January
Good morning,
I hope you are all well.
There's more Maths and English this morning, as always, and although I know that many of you enjoy these subjects, I imagine you will enjoy this afternoon's work - Art and Music!
You may notice that the music lesson comes courtesy of the Oak Academy. I will put a link to their home page below as you may find it a useful resource if there are areas of the curriculum you would like to work on more - for instance those of you who would like to reinforce your understanding of fractions.
Have a good day, and a good weekend.

There are two pages of work here, so make sure you scroll down.

Art and Design
Have a look at the weblink below to learn about Anglo-Saxon art and culture. When you have done that, open the file below to learn more about Anglo-Saxon helmets.
Next, use the internet to look at more images of Anglo-Saxon helmets.
When you feel ready, make a detailed drawing of an Anglo-Saxon helmet of your own design.
Finally, over the next week or so, try to save lots of card or cardboard and ask Mum and Dad to see if they can get really strong 'gaffer' tape - possibly from the pound shop in Ockendon. You are going to need both to make your own helmet!
