Results from External Testing and end of Key Stage Assessment 2015-16

Reception marks the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) where the children work towards achieving Early Learning Goals. A good measure of achievement is through Good Level of Development (GLD). Here is how Holy Cross pupils compare with National Standards for GLD:

Phonics Screening

Towards the end of Year 1, in June, all children nationally take part in the phonics screening. Any children not passing the screen, repeat it in Year 2.
