Admissions 2017-18

 

  • Admissions for September 2017-2018

     

    If your child was born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013, you must apply for a reception school place for September 2017 between 1st November 2016 and 15 January 2017.

     

    Applications received after the closing date are treated as late applications. This means there will be far less chance of your child being offered a place at the school you want.

     

    Parents must apply to Thurrock Council. You can apply online by clicking the link below.

  • Supplementary Forms

    As well as applying to Thurrock council, a supplementary form(SIF) must be completed and returned to the school office. This form can be downloaded either from Thurrock Council’s website or the Holy Cross Website. Copies can also be obtained from the school office. The Supplementary Form must be returned to the school office by Friday 15th January 2017. Catholic applicants will also need to get a Certificate of Catholic Practice from their priest.

     

    Forms received after this date will be considered as a late application and will not be considered in the usual round for admissions.

     

    Appeals

    If you are unsuccessful in your application for a place at Holy Cross, you have the right to appeal. Please see the attached guidance for information about how to lodge the appeal and the necessary proforma.
